Sanya takes measures to create good tourism environment for festive holiday

Recently, 8 relevant departments like the Traffic Transport Bureau, Comprehensive Enforcement Bureau and Public Safety Bureau jointly launched a crackdown to prevent price-cheating on the tourism market.

The crackdown concentrated on the seafood stalls, fruit stalls as well as shopping tourist sites in Dadonghai area, Luhuitou area, Shangpinjie Street, Gangmen and Danzhou communities.

During the inspection, the authorities seized 106 fruit-weighing machines and 37 fruit stalls involving cheating customers and have suspended their business.

To avoid ripping off tourists by shorting the sales weight, all seafood and fruit operators are required to use designated and qualified electronic scales.
